This journal is part of our Cannabis Connoisseur Collection. The Cannabis Connoisseur Journal (CCJ) is a template style journal that we made to help you reflect on, appreciate, and record the qualities and characteristics of the cannabis you sample. The journal was designed to help you use cannabis more intentionally. Certain strains will enhance creativity, focus, or sex-drive while others may be better used to promote rest and relaxation, improve sleep, or help alleviate pain. The hope is that using this journal will become part of a grounding ritual that will help you cultivate the best possible experience for yourself.

All of our journals are slow made in Canada. This means that they are made by hand, by us. We take the time to measure, cut, stitch, rivet and embellish with thoughtfulness and care. Each one of our hand-bound journals is different from the next. We incorporate the "live edge" of the leather and we celebrate the natural flaws, so while we may remake certain styles, they are never exactly the same - how boring would that be?!

When you purchase a journal like this, or any other locally handcrafted product, it helps demonstrate the importance of the Slow Made Movement in fashion and culture. The emphasis is shifting from cheap / easy / disposable to lasting quality and craftsmanship made with heart and soul. For ecologic, economic and personal or spiritual reasons, we are all gradually embracing this mindset.

  • Each of our journals are handcrafted, by us. We use natural leather hides and therefore, some variations in colour and texture (including marks, scuffs and scratches) can be expected. In fact, we often celebrate and highlight these irregularities. We include the natural “live edges” of the hides, as well as branding and range marks in our designs because we think it adds to the beauty and uniqueness of each piece.

It is our intention to portray the colours of each product as accurately as possible. Due to lighting or variations in device screen settings, actual colours may vary slightly from what appears online.
